Update – November 2021

No meeting at the centre on Monday  29 November but an exciting chance to photograph Winchester at night! We will leave King Alfred’s statue (near Guildhall) at 7:30 and explore buildings, alleys, river and the Christmas lights of course.
There is parking nearby (the park and ride stops at 9pm so don’t get marooned).
It will be cold and dark – hopefully not wet. Tripods might be useful for any long exposure photos. Good for tripping over in the dark too!
We will probably take sanctuary in the Bishop on the Bridge pub at around 9pm. It is near our starting point.

Update – October 2021

With the resumption of life to some sort of normality we have seen a flurry of activity in the club.

Saturday the 16th October had the members meeting up at Netley Abbey.

Inspired by Peter Benson’s talk form the previous Monday on Night Photography, we had a “Explore the Green” on the 20th. Much fun was had and all enjoyed the practical session including Linda capturing some passionate Daddy Long Legs – we are trying to have at least one practical night a month.

The first meet of October saw the first competition night. This one was for the Huxford Trophy.
