We have visited this venue before and always seem to get some good natural environment shots. This walk takes you past majestic conifers planted in the 1850s, some of the oldest Douglas fir trees in Britain and includes views of two enormous redwoods. The marked paths are reasonable but tree roots can sometimes be a trip hazard. There is a good car park with toilets and a coffee caravan! It can be a popular place so car sharing might be worth considering.
A good chance for non-members to find out more about our activities and meet club members informally on a walk.
See club website for Outdoor event risk assessment.
